Spaghetti plots show forecast tracks from multiple computer models. Each colored line represents a different model’s prediction of the storm’s future path.

Key Points

• Clusters: When many tracks group together, confidence in that path is higher.
• Divergence: Wide spread indicates more uncertainty.
• TAU values: These are forecast hours (e.g., 24h, 72h, 120h) from the model start time.
• Consensus models: Models like TVCN and OFCL blend multiple forecasts into one line.

Use spaghetti plots for context — not as an official prediction.

The colored lines only represent the projected center of the storm, not the full area of impacts. Impacts can extend far outside these lines.
