Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the data come from?

We use public feeds from the National Hurricane Center (NHC), NOAA, and UCAR. All content is for informational use only.

Why are there so many lines?

Each line represents a different computer model’s forecast. When they agree, confidence is higher.

Why don’t I see a storm I heard about?

Spaghetti plots are only available once model data (a-decks) are released for a system.

Can I rely on this instead of official forecasts?

No — always follow NHC advisories for official information.
